Play FreeCell Online — Free, No Download

Introduction
FreeCell is a calm, single-deck card game where nearly every deal is winnable with enough planning. You get four free cells for temporary storage and four foundations to build up by suit from Ace to King. There is no timer and no score to chase — just you, 52 cards, and a puzzle that rewards patience over reflexes. Play it free in your browser, no download required.
About FreeCell
FreeCell belongs to the solitaire family but plays nothing like Klondike. All 52 cards are dealt face-up at the start, so you can see the whole board and plan several moves ahead. The only real question is whether your particular shuffle can be solved — and almost all of them can.
Because nothing is hidden, FreeCell is a pure logic puzzle. The four free cells are your safety valves: park a blocking card there, free up a column, and keep the chains moving. Build each foundation in strict suit order and the entire tableau melts away.
How to Play FreeCell
Deal the board
The game deals all 52 cards into eight columns. The first four columns receive seven cards, the last four get six. Four free cells sit top-left and four foundations sit top-right.
Move cards by suit and colour
Send Aces up to start a foundation, then build each suit upward to the King. On the tableau, stack cards in descending order while alternating red and black.
Clear the tableau to win
Move every card onto its foundation pile. Use the free cells to park single cards when a column is blocked. Double-click a card to auto-send it when a move is obvious.

FreeCell Tips & Strategies
Empty columns are power
A free column can hold a full descending sequence, so clear one early whenever you can.
Keep a free cell in reserve
Try not to fill all four free cells; you often need one open to untangle a stuck column.
Build foundations evenly
Don't rush every card upward if it still helps as a tableau connector lower down.
Plan before you move
Because all cards are visible, think two or three moves ahead instead of grabbing the first free cell.
Use undo to learn
The Undo button is free — experiment with a move, see the result, and step back if it blocks you.
